We just had to share this message again, which we received from the parents of someone we serve.
“I am writing this note to Teresa Jordan to express our family’s appreciation for the fantastic support and care that my brother, is receiving.
W. is incredible. Her compassion and dedication to supporting, educating, coaching and caring for my brother and his roommate is outstanding. COVID has really changed everything however W. has managed to explain COVID and the protocols in ways that my brother has been able to understand. Her calm yet firm directives have reduced frustration and anxiety, fostering a positive and optimistic outlook.
I would also like to thank you and Community Living for all of the programs and support that my brother has been experiencing. K. has been a very positive influence on him. K’s camaraderie and generous personal help cooking, training and taking my brother fishing is a valued constructive influence. S. has also made a tremendous impact. My brother looks forward to spending time with S. going for walks, updating music on his IPOD and enjoying his generous support.
Thank you again for everything you and your staff do. Please express our sincere gratitude to W., K. and S. for going far above and beyond every day. As my brother says: We will have a big party when the virus is gone!
