75 hours biweekly
QUALIFICATIONS:
* A member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (proof of registration required)
* A College Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required.
* Applicants require five years full-time formal experience in the field of early learning and children’s intervention services.
* Resource Teacher Certificate is an asset.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with self-directed / self-managed / self-scheduled workday based on the needs of the people supported and / or as Agency needs arise.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience with multi-challenged children and their families.
* Demonstrated theoretical knowledge and experience in organized, professional childcare programs.
* Demonstrated experience and ability to work in multiple environments and with multiple community partners.
* Demonstrated knowledge and interpretation of the CCEYA, the How Does Learning Happen Framework, the MOE, and the Guidelines for Special Needs Resourcing
* Demonstrated knowledge of child development, pedagogy, Instructional Leadership
* Demonstrated ability in administration, communication, organization and time management, conflict resolution, and advocacy skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of an overall team.
* Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making competencies.
* Proof of ongoing professional learning.
* Current and Valid Emergency First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certifications are required.
* Valid Class G Driver’s License and Acceptable Driver’s Abstract and access to a reliable vehicle and proof of valid vehicle insurance including passenger coverage.
* Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
* Relevant experience with intellectual disabilities.
* Computer Literacy (Microsoft office, e-mail, internet).
* Adherence to the CLTH Covid Vaccination Policy
SALARY:
Hourly Wage Range – Step 1: $29.80 – Step 6: $33.27
Annual Salary Range – $58,110.00 – $64,875.50
