Life Share (previously Home Share) offers an alternative to the adults we support who find it difficult or lonely to live on their own.
The individual lives with a screened Life Share Provider – as member of the family – and the Provider receives respite and support from Community Living Trent Highlands staff.
Life Share offers a safe and healthy home for people who live with a developmental disability. Interested families undergo a thorough screening and intake process and then are matched with Life Sharers who have similar interests. With the support and guidance of Life Share staff, Provider encourage the people living in their home to take part in family and community life.
