Last year we celebrated that two vibrant agencies chose to unite and face the future together as Community living Trent Highlands. Boldly the members of two boards of directors voted to amalgamate Community living Central Highlands and Community living Peterborough. They made this choice neither out of necessity nor mandate, but rather because together we will be stronger, brighter and more responsive to the immense needs that exist in the futures of our communities.

As a sector we are striving for something better, learning year after year about deeper inclusion, community development and belonging. Our new agency will continue building on our legacies, and will strive to create bridges to community and networks of inclusion in Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough. The future is bright and filled with possibility.

Looking forward, we are excited by a future filled with social innovation, knowledge sharing and community development that will help to build awareness for the people we support. By becoming a General “Voting” Member through a donation, we hope you will continue to support us in opening doors and building more inclusive communities together.


A general member is a person 18 years of age or older who has paid an annual donation (minimum $10), chooses to be a voting member and endorses the objects, mission and values of the organization. Each general member is allowed one voting privilege. Membership term is July 1 to June 30.

If you wish to pay by cheque please print and complete our printable application and it to the address below. Please make cheque out to Community Living Trent Highlands; it must be for a minimum of $10 to pay for one year of membership.
